Anyone accessing site your site can Subscribe
This new feature allows you to define "Types" or "Topics" and then people accessing your site can subscribe easily. They can choose which Types or topics they are interesting in learning more about.

When you create Announcements on your site using the Admin Tools, you can still post those to the pages on the site where you want them to appear and you can send the to Subscribers as an email alert! You can even send Alerts containing Announcements that are not published on a page! You chose which Type or Topic gets the Alert email.
